So the first step is to stop, notice, and appreciate what is happening.
Even if this is all we do, it’s revolutionary.

Hi! Thanks for visiting!
I’m a Canadian expat living in Doha, Qatar for over eleven twelve years now. By my side is my husband and our three kids.
Edging up towards the big 5-0, I find myself thinking about life, myself, others, family, friends, health, wealth and a whole lot about the path that lays ahead.
Though barelynoticeable our lives are filled with that which can act as our guide, teach us our lessons and remind us of our purpose.
The words I always remember coming out of my Gran’s mouth were “pay attention!” I think she had something there …

Hi, Just wondered if you could tell me where this beach is please. I’m new to Qatar (spice_media on Twitter) and we’re heading out to explore over the weekend. We’d love to find a beach like this one. Many thanks. Anne
Hi Anne! Welcome to Qatar!
This photo was taken at Khor Al Adaid or the Inland Sea, as it’s usually called. The link below will tell you more about it and other beaches around Doha (or look in the Marhaba book, pg. 52). To get there, you basically head out towards the airport and follow along on Al Wakra Road, past Wakrah and on to the Sealine Beach Resort. From there you will need a four-wheel drive. Or, many of the local tour operators can take you there. It IS beautiful….

If you don’t already have one, pick up a copy of the Marhaba… published quarterly and costs only QR20. It has a ton of valuable information in it! Available in most grocery stores and book shops.
